Cancer Stops With Us! Join the team sisters x
We are a walking team made up of close friends, sisters, and nurses, united by friendship, compassion, and a shared commitment to women’s health. On Saturday 2 May 2026, we’re challenging ourselves to walk 35km as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women’s Cancer.
We’re doing this to raise vital funds for women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, because the women we cherish deserve to live longer, healthier lives free from cancer.
There is still so much more to be done to ensure that women of WA — our mothers, sisters, daughters, friends, patients, and loved ones — who are confronting cancer can stay with us for as long as possible. As nurses, friends, and family members, we see firsthand the impact cancer has, and that’s why we are training hard and fundraising in the lead-up to this event.
