In 2022 I was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer that had also gone to my lymphnodes, as shocking and upsetting as that was and with little time to process it was straight into chemo for 6 months.
I spent my 34th birthday day having chemo which was devastating....
I had my incredible family supporting me, my closest friends holding me through the crap days and wonderful nurses and doctors making sure I got the exact treatment I needed.
In 2023 I had a double mastectomy with reconstruction followed by 6 weeks of radiation...
I have been incredibly lucky to have survived this aggressive cancer and I can't imagine how it would have been for women not so many years ago.
This fundraiser holds close to my heart, without these amazing people doing the research we wouldn't be as close to finding a cure today or having the right treatment for the many specific cancers women face.
If there is any small donation you could make towards this research it would be greatly appreciated!
We walk 35km on may 2nd for all women!

Cancer Stops With Me!

On Saturday 2 May 2026, I'm challenging myself to walk 35km as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women's Cancer. I'm doing this Walk to do something big for our mums, sisters, daugthers, friends and loved ones living with cancer. 

This year I'm committed to raising vital funds for women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research because the women we cherish deserve to live longer, healthier lives free from cancer.

There is so much more to be done to ensure that women of WA confronting cancer stay with us for as long as possible. I am training and fundraising in the lead up to the event. I would be so grateful for your support. If you can't join me (I'd love your company), please give generously to my donation page.

I don't want anyone to have to hear "You have cancer". Please help me and the Perkins make that happen.
