Cancer Stops With Us!
On Saturday 2 May 2026, we're challenging ourselves to walk 35km as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women's Cancer. We're doing it to raise vital funds for women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research because the women we cherish deserve to live longer, healthier lives free from cancer.
There is so much more to be done to ensure that women of WA – our mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones – confronting cancer stay with us for as long as possible. We are training and fundraising in the lead up to the event. We'd be so grateful for your support. If you can't join us (we'd love the company), please give generously to our donation page.

Hi Julia. I had made a pack with Nahiid to walk with the Team this year, but my daughter Kate is getting married on the very same day as the walk. However, there was no reason I could not "enter" via the Team and have done that, but see that you have joined. You go girl!! Thank you for doing this. My mum had BC three times. First was when she was 36 years old. I remember being very young seeing her go through treatment having no idea what was going on. When i turned 21 she was diagnosed for the 3rd time and had a double mastectomy. Lyon's mum has also had one time, and then a scare that it may have returned late last year. Well done.
