HELP US, TO HELP THE PERKINS 🐝 - TO SMASH CANCER.....👊
On Saturday the 3rd of May 2025, we're challenging ourselves to walk 35km as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women's Cancer. 🏃🏃♂️We're doing it to raise vital funds for women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research because the women we cherish deserve to live longer, healthier lives free from cancer.
In 2024 I lost my most beautiful Annie, to cancer. Even just months before she lost her fight, she was there at the finish line cheering us on. It is a day I will never forget. I would invite ANYONE who has been touched by this hideous disease, to get involved. ✅
This year I am both proud and honoured to have been asked (and accepted!) the role of your Official Walk Ambassador for the 2025 event. This responsibility I take with 150% commitment, and also in honour of Annie, and for all those beautiful women who have been lost to cancer, and who may still be fighting cancer.
There is so much more to be done to ensure that women of WA – our mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones – confronting cancer stay with us for as long as possible. We are training and fundraising in the lead up to the event. We'd be so grateful for your support. If you can't join us (we'd love the company), please give generously to my donation page.
We want cancer to 🛑 with us. Please help us and the Perkins make that happen. Year in and year out, the Perkins makes life changing progress and discoveries to move towards being able to eliminate cancer.
