My Updates

Cancer Stops With Me!

On Saturday 2 May 2026, I'm challenging myself to walk 35km as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women's Cancer. I'm doing this Walk to do something big for our mums, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones living with cancer.

This year I'm committed to raising vital funds for women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research because the women we cherish deserve to live longer, healthier lives free from cancer.

There is so much more to be done to ensure that women of WA confronting cancer stay with us for as long as possible. I am training and fundraising in the lead up to the event. I would be so grateful for your support. If you can't join me (I'd love your company), please give generously to my donation page.

I don't want anyone to have to hear "You have cancer". Please help me and the Perkins make that happen.

Let’s walk towards a cancer-free future – together.

Walk for my mum xxx

It’s been nearly 3 years since my beautiful mum, Jean, passed away after a painful and confusing battle with lymphoma. Mum had successfully overcome breast cancer in 2015 and we obviously were ecstatic at the time that she was declared cancer free and in remission. Unfortunately, bloody cancer doesn’t always give up and in May 2023, Mum was diagnosed with lymphoma and she passed away on the 25th August 2023, after a long stay in hospital…struggling with pain and many other medical issues.

We miss her every day.

It is a privilege to walk, in honour of my mum, to fundraise for women’s cancer. If you would like to donate to this very important cause, I would be very grateful if you could do so via my fundraising link.

Every little bit helps 🥰

Looking forward to my walk!

It’s been nearly 3 years since we lost our beautiful mum, Jean, to cancer. After overcoming breast cancer in 2015, Mum was diagnosed with lymphoma in May 2023 and she passed away on 25th August 2023, after a long period of time in hospital, in pain and very unsettled. The tribute photo of me with Mum was taken just after her hair started growing back after chemo for her breast cancer.

We miss her every day and it’s an honour to walk in her memory.
