“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”
Further to my wife Dianne passing from Pancreatic Cancer in May 2022, there was left a huge void in my life. Part of this void has been filled with walking, an enjoyable activity and a necessity towards me staying healthy, both physically and mentally.
Whilst time rushes by, sadly, most of us are aware or know of relatives/friends, either dealing with, or having lost the Cancer fight.
For the families and friends of those dealing with Cancer, it is an anxious time, whilst for those grieving the loss, my heart goes out as I understand the pain.
Now for the third year, am again putting my feet to work by way of 35km New Town Toyota Walk for Women's Cancer on Saturday 3 May 2025, to raise funds for women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
This Walk is dear to my heart and is a way in which I can do something important for our wives, mums, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones living with Cancer.
Together with the Walk, am again committed to raising vital funds for women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, as the women we cherish deserve to live longer, healthier lives free from cancer.
Whilst I can manage the training and fundraising in the lead up to the event, your financial support would mean soooo much. If you can't join me (I'd love your company), please, please give generously to my donation page.
