For my mum, Bev <3
On Saturday 3 May 2025, I'm joining my friend and colleague Charmaine to walk 35km for womens cancer.
My life was touched by cancer again in early 2025, but this time, a little too close to home. My mum Bev, being told via routine mammogram they had found a lump. Fast forward to approximately 10 weeks later and she has had 2 bouts of surgery and radiation is the next step.
To walk 35kms in one hit, is not my idea of fun, but it is nothing compared to what some women endure and continue to endure in their own battles with the c word.
Please get on board with Charmaine and I as we tackle this walk head on on behalf of those we love.
