the Storm Hooters challenge
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, we’re lacing up our shoes and taking on the challenge of walking 35km for the New Town Toyota Walk for Women’s Cancer. 35km—yep, that’s not a typo. That’s like walking to the corner store... if the corner store was 35km away. But we're doing it because women’s cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research needs all the support it can get, and we want to make sure the people we love—mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends—have longer, healthier lives, free from cancer.
There’s still so much to do to help everyone battling cancer in WA, so we’re training (with a lot of groaning) and fundraising in the lead-up to the big day.
We’d love for you to join us and walk by our side, but if you can’t make it, we’d be so grateful if you could support our fundraising efforts with a generous donation on our page. Let’s make sure cancer doesn’t get the last word.
