My reasons why

This year I have decided to join my dear friends Kylie and Chelsea Reynolds 💗 and their team, “Mooniemia Magic”, to walk 35km with them to raise funds for cancer research.

My wonderful friends Kylie and Chelsea and the team “Mooniemia Magic” began 4 years ago in Geraldton/ Northampton in support of their beautiful cousin, Roslyn Hault 💗 who was then diagnosed with cancer.
They now walk in her honour and this year are walking in honour of their gorgeous mum, Pat Mitchell Reynolds 💗, whom they lost to cancer late last year.

I want to walk with “Mooniemia Magic” to show my support and respect as well as the love that I have for Pat (Mum#2) and Roslyn, but I am also walking for my cousin Gemma 💗 who won her battle with breast cancer and my dear Uncle Tony 💗who beat cancer and to all my other beautiful friends and family who have had their own battles to deal with.

Feeling helpless and sometimes not knowing what to do or say, being associated with this awesome team makes me feel like I am doing something 💗.
It’s also nice knowing that 100% of the donations go back to the Perkins Institute to support their work towards cancer research.

I am also walking for those dear to me that have lost their battles, my cousin Bradley, my dear school friend Kerri, my always sparkling Aunty Louisa, my Father-in-law George (Mr Marcos), my beautiful Aunty Vic and my loving Mum#2 Pat.

Please help me, help the Perkins.

Cancer ends with me!

2024 is my time to do something big for our mums, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones living with cancer. I’m doing this Walk because no one should have to hear those two terrible words, “It’s cancer.”

This year, I’m committing to help the amazing women’s cancer researchers at WA’s Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research. I’m training, fundraising and walking to support this cause. I’d be so grateful for your support.

If you can’t join me (I’d love the company), please give generously to my fundraising page.

The Perkins is dedicated to helping the women in our lives. They’re focused on pioneering medical breakthroughs and discovering new treatments for this disease and they won’t stop until cancer is history. That means so much to me. Please help me, help them.
