Cancer Stops With Us!
On Saturday 2 May 2026, members of AGAA including friends and family, will take on the challenge of walking 35km as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women’s Cancer. We are doing this to support mums, sisters, daughters, friends, and loved ones affected by cancer.
Recently, we lost a dear friend and colleague, Narelle (Hydes), to this horrible disease. In her honour, and in support of all the women in our lives and loved ones who have fought or are still fighting, our team, Hydes Pride, will be participating to raise funds and awareness.
There is so much more to be done to ensure that women of WA – our mothers, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones – confronting cancer stay with us for as long as possible. We are training and fundraising in the lead up to the event.
We’d love to invite anyone else who would like to join us. The more, the merrier! It’s a great way to get active, support an important cause, and come together as a team.
If you can’t walk but would like to support, donations are also very welcome.
We want cancer to stop with us. Please help us and the Perkins make that happen.
Let’s walk towards a cancer-free future – together.
