Cancer ends with me!
Walking 35km with the Purple Hearts for Women’s Cancer
On Saturday 2 May 2026, I’ll be taking on a 35km challenge as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women’s Cancer.
This year marks my 11th year walking with the incredible Purple Hearts team, which has raised over $380,000 over the past 12 years to support the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research.
Every step we take honours our mums, sisters, daughters, friends and loved ones who have faced cancer. We walk in hope, in memory and in determination to make sure fewer women ever have to hear the words “You have cancer.”
I’m walking again because I believe in what the Perkins is doing. Their world-class researchers are working every day to detect cancer earlier, develop better treatments and ultimately save lives. But there’s still so much more to do.
In the lead-up to May, I’ll be training hard and fundraising to continue this vital work — and I’d love your support.
If you can’t join me on the walk (I’d love the company!), please consider donating to my page. Every dollar helps bring us closer to a cancer-free future.
Let’s walk towards a cancer-free future – together.
Please help me, help the Perkins.
