Walking The Walk !
On Saturday 2 May 2026, I'm challenging myself to walk 14km as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Women's Cancer. I'm doing this walk to do something big for our mums, sisters, daughters, dads, brothers, sons, friends and loved ones living with or who we have lost to cancer.
In 2025, I lost 3 key members of my family due to different types of the big "C" - my beautiful Mum passed away on 28.2.25 with bladder cancer - my beautiful sister-in-law passed away on 16.5.25 with Cholangiocarcinoma and my daughter-in-law's father passed away from Leptomeningeal Carcinoma on 28.9.25.
There is so much more to be done to ensure that men and women of WA confronting cancer stay with us for as long as possible. I am training and fundraising in the lead up to the event. I would be so grateful for your support. If you can't join me (I'd love your company), please give generously to my donation page.
I don't want anyone to have to hear "You have cancer". Please help me and the Perkins make that happen.
