My Updates
First week of training - done
Completed my first week of training walks. What better place to finish the training week by walking around Lake Richmond .
Week 8
Finishing this week's and last week's training off with an 18km walk on Friday and a 9km today. Exploring our surrounding suburbs and bushland and are amazed at what we discover and the beauty we are surrounded by.
Week 6
Only 6 weeks to go till the event. Longest walk this week was 10.5 km. Total of 28km walked this week.
Week 5 - All caught up
Caught up with the kilometres not walked during week 3. Did a 13km walk around Lake Cooloongup on Saturday with husband Manfred and children Manuela and Martin. Was a great walk and tested our endurance.
Week 4 Training
Week three saw only limited training. The goal was 18km for the week and I was able to squeeze in 6km. Week 4 Training goal was 21 km. So I added last weeks outstanding km's to make it a total of 33km. I am proud to say that I walked a total of 28km.
Week 2 Training
Week 2 of training completed. Finished off the week with a 7km walk along Waikiki and Warnbro Beach.Thank You TO MY SPONSORS
