Cancer ends with me!
I continue to walk every year for a cause close to my heart—supporting my best friend's mum, Tania, who has become like family to me here in Australia.
In 2016, Tania was diagnosed with breast cancer. Despite facing surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy, her battle intensified in 2019 when the cancer metastasised to her brain. After years of surgeries and treatments, her resilience continues to shine, even as she now continues treatment.
This walk is my way of standing with her and others fighting this battle, raising awareness for better early detection and treatments for cancer.
Every step I take honours Tania’s strength and the incredible support of her family, who embody resilience and love.
