Walking for Breast & Ovarian Cancer Research

During the week leading up to Saturday 3 May 2025, my sister and I are challenging ourselves to walk 35 kms on the Wadandi Track and surrounds as part of the New Town Toyota Walk for Womens' Cancer.
Both of us are in our 60's now and we are survivors of breast cancer. We were each diagnosed at 57 years old and we attribute our survival to our early diagnosis and to research. Our cancer stage and treatments were different, but we were able to follow very clear surgical and treatment pathways thanks to good research.
This year I have committed to raise $2,000 for women's cancer research at the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research because the women in our lives deserve to live longer, healthier lives, free from cancer.
There is so much more to be done to prevent and treat women's cancers, so please support me by donating via my page.
Please help me, help the Perkins.
