2Where will we walk?
You will walk either 30km or 42km through the streets and neighbourhoods in central Perth. The route is well marked and enjoyable for people of all fitness levels.

1Will I be able to walk that far?
Absolutely! This event is intended for people of all fitness levels. The key is taking the route at your own pace – it’s not a race! Take your time, meet the people walking with you, share stories and become part of a wonderful community. If you need help along the way, we have support vehicles to pick you up.
2When should I start training?
Ideally, as soon as you register. Walking regularly is a great way to train your body, and increasing your distance as you go until a few weeks before the event will set you up. For more information call 08 6151 0818 or contact


1What is Everyday Hero?
Everydayhero is the online portal where you will interact with your peers, donors, supporters, and other likeminded people. Everydayhero help people like you all over the world connect with and support the causes they love. You can find helpful tips and receive assistance here
2How will people find my personal page?
If your friends and family want to search for your personal fundraising page on Everydayhero, all they need to do is:

(1) Visit our website –
(2) Scroll down to the “Search Supporters” search box in blue with a magnifying glass, underneath the Top Teams and Tops Individuals leader boards.
(3) Type in the name they are searching – ie: Sarah Smith
(4) This will bring up a set of pages to select from – just click on the name and they will be taken to your Supporter page.

From there they can donate and leave some words of encouragement.
3How do I edit my supporter page?
To edit your supporter page, first make sure that you are logged in.

Scroll down to below your image and name and click on “Edit this Supporter Page”. Then you have the option to change your Page Name, Goal, URL, Why I Walk story, and Page Photo.

When you are done click the button “Save Changes”
4How do I join an existing team?
If you would like to join a team that has been created on everydayhero, simply follow these steps:
1. Visit our website -
2. Click "Log In" on the top right hand corner, and log in using your email address and password. If you do not have a Supporter page - click here.
3. Once you have accessed your Supporter page, click "Join an existing team" on the right hand side.

4. Search for your team name and click "Join Team."
5. You are now a member of the team!
5How do I change my goal fundraising amount?
From your Supporter page, click "Edit this Supporter page" (you will need to be logged in to do this) on the right hand side. From here, you will be able to change your goal amount.

HANDY HINT - Set weekly or daily goals for your fundraising. By having smaller targets it means you’re more likely to achieve them and keep up your awesome energy! You can then increase your goal amount as you hit it!

1What is included in my registration?
Your registration fee includes entry into the Hawaiian Walk for Women’s Cancer, a fundraising kit, and food, drinks and support on the entire event day course.
2How do I register?

3I’ve registered, now what do I do?
Login to set up your fundraising page and start your fundraising! You can share your page through email, on social media, and by asking friends and family to join you in a team. Now’s a great time to get onto your training too.


1How will I raise $1,000 (or more)?
Fundraising $1,000 can be fun and easy! Break the amount down, and take some time to plan how and when you will do your fundraising – which means asking your friends, family and colleagues to support you and your cause. For more information contact 08 6151 0818 or
2How do I make a donation?
The fastest and easiest way to donate is online. Go to our donation page to get started. Choose a donation amount and follow the instructions. You will receive a tax receipt instantaneously via email.
3Can I receive cash donations? Do I mail in the cash?
Yes you can definitely receive cash donations, but please do not mail the cash to us! We don’t want it to get lost in the mail. Instead, you can take the cash and the donor’s details (including name, address, email and phone number) if they want a tax receipt, and make the donation to your fundraising page with your credit or debit card. Your donor will receive their tax receipt instantaneously.
4I’m in a team. Do we raise $1,000 together or does each member need to raise $1,000?
When you create a team for the Hawaiian Walk for Women’s Cancer, each member is still required to raise an individual amount of $1,000. For example, if you are a team of 5, you will have the challenge of raising at least $5,000.


1How do I create a team?
You can either ‘Create a Team’ when you are registering for the event, or if you are already registered you will need to be logged in. Once logged in, click ‘Create a new team’ under your personal photo on your fundraising page. For more information and further steps click here.
2How do I change the team name, team goal and team page content?
The Team Captain has the ability to change the team name, team goal and team page content. To do this, the Team Captain must log into Everydayhero here then click the link: ‘Edit this Team Page’. For more information click here
3My workplace wants to sign up as a team. How do we do this?
